The Philpsburg Masons sponsored a reading contest at Hall School called "Bikes for Books." For each pre-determined amount of time, read students earned a ticket to be entered in a drawing for a mountain bike. More reading meant more tickets. On May 3, 2010, members of the Masons came to the school for the drawing. Alec was named the lower room winner and Te'a the winner from the upper room. There were hundreds of tickets in the drawing.
